Leigh Marks is an Australian singer-songwriter whose music weaves together the soulful grit of blues, the warmth of indie folk and the storytelling heart of roots music. Hailing from the Blue Mountains, his songs are shaped by the landscapes, people and experiences that have defined his journey. His second album, Mavis Said, further established him as a distinctive voice in the Australian singer-songwriter scene. Drawing influence from artists such as Ben Harper, Chris Cornell and Jeff Buckley, Marks brings an authentic and engaging presence to the stage—combining powerful vocals, thoughtful songwriting and a deep connection with his audience. He has shared stages with artists including Billy Idol, Sepultura, the late Taylor Hawkins and Nathan Cavaleri, while continuing to carve out his own path as an independent artist. In 2025 he toured Germany, Austria and Switzerland, performing around 30 concerts. He has also appeared at the Tamworth Country Music Festival and will perform at The Listening Room during the 2027 festival. Whether performing in an intimate listening room, theatre, club or festival setting, Leigh’s music invites listeners into stories of resilience, nature, reflection and hope.
