Them Alone is an indie folk duo formed by Juan Arencibia (lead vocals, guitar) and Steven van der Steen (backing vocals, guitar). They are influenced by a wide range of artists: Nirvana, The Smashing Pumpkins, My Morning Jacket and Kings of Convenience, to name but a few. Juan's songs draw on relatable aspects of his life, including parenthood, love, and friendship, without resorting to cliché. Their new EP 'Sleeping' was featured this year in VPRO 3voor12, the most important alternative music platform and online magazine in the Netherlands. The band was also selected to play at the Pinguin Radio Showcases during the ESNM festival in Groningen.
