Helen Francis is a singer and guitarist, writing songs about her struggles with love and belonging. At a very young age she got inspired by her father's 70's vinyl collection. A fascination for Janis Joplin marked the start of a musical journey that took her from rock and blues to funk and jazz music. In her thirties she started working deliberately on her songs, discovering her own sound, best described as folkpop.
