What's the vibe?

LOVNG ROOM and Labyrinth present an evening of poetry at the cocktail, soul food and poetry bar on Amstelveenseweg. Four performers, fifteen minutes each, with ten-minute breaks between sets. Running order: 20:00 Paula Breuning 20:25 Remco Lambers 20:50 Shivila 21:15 Simon Mulder Paula Breuning writes and performs poetry in English and Dutch about womanhood, fatness, Dutchness, queerness, and everything from the nuts and bolts of democracy to the behaviour of orcas. Remco Lambers is a poet, theatre maker and teacher whose work explores loss, love, transformation and liberation. Shivila is a writer and spoken word poet whose poems find meaning in the mediocrity of daily life and the diasporic ache of living between here and back home. Simon Mulder is a poet, essayist and translator who works in fixed forms of rhyme and metre, and who brings classics of literary history back to life on stage alongside his own work.
